How child learns who "I am"
The most important learning a child receives is the reflection of himself
he sees in his parent’s eyes. If parent
sees child’s innocence, power and goodness, than he will grow up being and
knowing himself that way. All future
life choices and experiences will be based upon this view of himself.

The myth of attention deficit disorder
There is no such thing as a child having an attention deficit disorder since the child is always attending to something. It is only when we want him to attend to what he is not attending to that a problem seems to arise. But it is our problem. It is not the child's problem that he is not interested in what his parents and teachers want him to be. Is it a disorder to not pay attention to what doesn't interest you? In school, the answer to this question is "yes." Instead of schools taking responsibility for their irrelevance to the student's lives, they blame the students by creating an imaginary illness called ADHD.
Road less Traveled
There is a way to treat a child that will ensure that she grows up to be all she can be. This way requires that the parents want, more than anything that their child be exactly as she is, just as she was created. This way, is the road less travelled. . A path that can only be traversed without the use of power, anger or criticism. A path based on the utmost love, respect and devotion for our child’s deepest Self. And when we succeed, we discover that we are that same divine Self and we live in peace.

Universal Mind
Pigeons have an inborn knowledge of the stars so that they can navigate, and salmon are born knowing the complex geography of the planet's waterways. Animals, plants and all living things seem to know everything necessary for survival. But what about humans, the creatures considered to be highest on the evolutionary scale? What knowledge are humans born with? What knowledge do humans need?
A core belief in our culture and in our schools, is that children are empty of knowledge, and that the task of school is to fill the child's mind with knowledge. Could humans be the only creatures on the planet with no inborn knowledge?
New paradigm parenting has as it's focus the child's ability to access Universal Mind, an aspect of themselves containing all relevant knowledge. This will develop automatically as parents learn to honor and respect this natural unfolding. Education, therefore, will be realized to be a process wherein the child gains access to knowledge from within, instead of requiring an external teacher or teachings.

the inner curriculum
Children naturally
know how to learn all that is needed by remaining present in each moment. Nothing needs to be added, but merely
supported. This is the way walking and talking are learned and is the natural
way that everything can be learned. But
how can children remain inwardly directed in school when they are forced to go
against themselves to focus on personally irrelevant topics or tasks? In this
way, schools prevent them from knowing themselves, and without self knowledge
it is difficult to create a meaningful life. It is harmful, therefore, to place a child in
any environment that does not allow the “inner curriculum”to be of utmost
importance.
